Snow

The snow is starting here. The flakes are light and flutter around in the eddies and currents before descending to the ground.
Thankfully we can walk to dance lessons tonight and we don't need to drive anywhere for a few days. Living in this hilly city (with few plows) can present somewhat of a challenge to get around in the snow.

Birthday Barrette

Since today is my birthday I decided to make myself a birthday barrette. It turned out pretty. I'll really like the idea of melting the edges of synthetic fabric to make the edges curl up. I did it on the porch but the wind kept blowing out the candle. Another final product:

Waltz

My husband and I just started taking waltz lessons.  Last night we moved the table so that we could have a bit more room to practice. Our living room is pretty small for waltzing.
"Practice! Practice! Practice!" says our instructor.

Dress

I probably don't need a new dress right now but I really like this one. Perhaps for the summer...

Baking Brownies
